Local musician Yasin Mukasa aka Lil Pazo has decided to seek a meeting with the Katikkiro of Buganda and apologize for singing offensive songs such as Enkudi.
It should be noted that the Katikkiro, Charles Peter Mayiga this week issued a stern warning to all Buganda media platforms that includes BBS Terefayina and CBS Radios to desist from playing Lil Pazo and Gravity Omutujju’s songs.
Mayiga said that anyone who plays the duo’s songs on these platforms will be held accountable. This comes at a time when the public and authorities are carrying out a crackdown on songs deemed offensive and indecency in the music industry.
Lil Pazo has now decided to approach the Katikkiro and seek dialogue. Escorted by social entertainment commentator, Frank Ntambi, Lil Pazo took a two-page letter to Bulange Mengo and revealed that he wants to speak with the Katikkiro so that both parties can come to a common ground.
The ‘Genda Ogule’ Emotokka singer added that he’s ready to listen and adhere to what his traditional leaders tell him. However, he also wants them to listen to his side before judging.
“I have written and delivered this letter to my ancestral home to have a dialogue with the Katikkiro. I’m not a poorly behaved person but I want them to hear my other side of the story. I have been promised that I will meet him and I want to tell him all those trying to disrupt musicians especially those of Buganda origins,” he said.
Pazo’s Enkudi song has been deemed extremely offensive despite being on the airwaves for several months now. He even organized a successful concert of this song. Additionally, his stage performances have also been called into question by the public.

Asked about his counterpart who was blacklisted, Gravity Omutujju, Lil Pazo said that he can’t talk about someone who once employed him. He said that Gravity is a mature man who can handle his issues.
