The 2026 general elections are nearing and different people have already started expressing their interest in different political positions. Some of these names are a surprise though not new to the public eye.
Among these is singer Lil Pazo Lunabe real name Mukasa Yasin. The Nkudi singer took to his Facebook page to reveal how he’s set to run for the parliamentary seat for Kooki County come 2026.
According to Lil Pazo, he will be running under the National Unity Platform card since he’s a close ally of Bobi Wine. He even took it upon himself to visit some of the ghettos of Kooki and interact with the people there.
His slogan as per the poster for his candidacy reads “Twebereremu Bana Rakai.” A couple of entertainers such as Nina Roz, and comedian Reign have already expressed interest in running in the upcoming general elections.
For Lil Pazo, it’s unknown whether he meets the criteria that permit him to run for the legislature. It’s also not yet clear if he will indeed run as he’s deemed more of a funny character. And if all is said and done, he still has to secure the NUP card to contest for the seat.
