The Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango has confirmed that singer Vyroota is currently behind bars on a case of ‘procuring abortion.’
News surfaced how the Risk singer was arrested on allegations of defilement and impregnating a 16-year-old.
It was revealed that Vyroota had been blasting live rounds of ammunition into this minor which led to her getting pregnant.
This girl proceeded to tell Vyroota of the pregnancy but he quickly told her to abort since he was neither ready to be a father nor marry her.
Onyango says that this young girl refused to abort and went and told the singer’s manager, a one Walugembe who also seduced her to abort which she went ahead to do.
However, the girl’s parents weren’t happy about this and they proceeded to file a Police case against the Vyroota and his manager. This led to Police picking them up and throwing them behind bars.
Additionally, Onyango confirmed that the two are now in prison waiting for further investigations before anything conclusive can be decided.
Repeats suggest that this pregnancy was of twins. Vyroota is one of the top new singers who a lot of girls have a crush on.
