A section of NUP supporters turned on Nyendo-Mukungwe MP Hon Mathias Mpuuga at a recent village meeting he attended.
While addressing the congregants, Mpuuga revealed how he has no problem with Bobi Wine who he referred to as his younger brother.
He went ahead that there’s nothing that the two of them can fight for because they are so different. Mpuuga then went ahead to say that it was him who introduced the NUP president to the public.
This antagonized some of the attendees who started objecting and jeering the former leader of the opposition. They said that he should stop lying and trying to take credit for what he didn’t do.
Despite his efforts to calm down the public by continuing to speak, the murmurs continued. Mpuuga however said that come next year in January, everyone will be agreeing with him and they will even be apologizing to him for trying to show them the right way.
It should be noted that Mpuuga was kicked out of NUP by Bobi Wine last year on allegations of bribery. Mpuuga who started his pressure group known as the Democratic Alliance was a few days ago replaced by Butambala MP, Hon Muwanga Kivumbi as the deputy for Buganda region.
