Singer King Saha has promised to hold another concert for his low-income earning fans. The singer staged a sold-out concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval last weekend.
Although priced at 30k for an ordinary ticket, this show attracted thousands of revellers. But Saha says that a lot of his fans especially the Wanainchi couldn’t attend because of the price. Therefore he hopes to stage another one for 5k.
The ‘Biri Biri’ singer added that he’s still looking for a proper venue and hopefully, he will get a bigger one citing Kololo Independence Grounds or Namboole Stadium. He also said that he might stage it in the middle of town and make it like a carnival.
The former Leone Island singer said that years ago, there were a couple of good events such as Kampala City Carnival and Silk Street Jam. These are no longer present and that’s what he wants to return.
Saha was also grateful to NUP president Bobi Wine for gracing his concert as this electrified it the more.
