Ziza Bafana Urges Beenie Gunter & Nickie Berry to Ensure Positive Co-Parenting Following Breakup

Published

on

Dancehall star Richard Kasendwa, popularly known as Ziza Bafana, believes that if someone leaves an unhappy relationship and finds peace, they should be grateful rather than dwell on the past.

He emphasized that everyone has the right to walk away from misery because, in the end, life is about finding happiness.

His remarks follow the highly publicized breakup between fellow musician Beenie Gunter and his partner, Nickie Berry.

On March 24, 2025, Nickie publicly announced the end of their relationship, citing disrespect and infidelity as the main reasons.

Since then, Beenie Gunter has remained silent despite media pressure for a response.

While Bafana does not support their split, he noted that if their relationship had reached a point where it was causing more pain than joy, then separation was the best choice.

However, he stressed that their child should not go through distress as a result.

He urged them to work together to fulfill their parental responsibilities and ensure the child’s well-being and happiness at all times.

Ziza Bafana’s comments come from personal experience, as he has also gone through separations from two of his former partners and baby mamas, Vanessa Vanny and Irene Mbabazi.
